Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Advanced experience in structural FEA and hand calculations.
• Experience with nonlinear, dynamic and transient methods (shock analysis, pressure vessels).
• Experience as independent technical approver/signatory for calculations/reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex structural problem solving using FEA and hand calculations.
• Provide customer-facing technical justification and reports for qualification across platforms.
• Act as technical authority, reviewing and assuring quality of analyses.
• Communicate results to stakeholders, stating assumptions and limitations clearly.
• Set and uphold standards for structural analysis and best practices.
