Job summary

Ecotricity is recruiting for a Debt Management Advisor based at our Stroud office. You will engage customers in financial difficulty, arrange affordable repayment plans, and work across inbound/outbound channels to resolve queries with a customer-first approach.

The role requires weekly office presence with hybrid working and a Saturday rota. You will operate within a busy, supportive team focused on quality service and compliance in a regulated energy market.

Qualifications

• Excellent and professional customer interaction skills.
• Experience in debt collection or energy sector is desirable but not essential.
• Experience using multiple IT systems simultaneously (including MS Office).
• Able to stay resilient while managing change in a dynamic energy market.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in financial difficulty via inbound/outbound calls, email, and app contact.
• Take payments and negotiate affordable repayment options.
• Identify root causes of queries and collaborate with other departments to resolve.
• Update records accurately in systems and with external industry bodies.
• Ensure compliance with Data Protection Act and related regulations.
• Own personal and team development and share knowledge with colleagues.
