Job summary

West Brom is seeking a Data Solutions Systems Analyst to join our team in West Bromwich with hybrid working options. The role offers circa £42,000 per year and 35 hours per week, permanent contract.

The analyst will examine and optimise IT systems and data flows, produce impact assessments, and document Application and Data Design to guide development. Collaboration across teams and with 3rd party suppliers is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a System Analyst in an IT environment.
• Understanding of SDLC and system design principles.
• Ability to document designs and data models.
• Experience with data lineage and metadata management.

Responsibilities

• Analyse IT systems and data models to align with business processes.
• Translate business requirements into system and data requirements.
• Create Application and Data Design documents detailing changes.
• Collaborate with developers, testers and 3rd party suppliers.
• Develop and maintain documentation including data flow diagrams.
• Support incident resolution and change requests.
