Job summary

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join in either London or Bristol on a hybrid basis, two days per week. The role focuses on analysing data, processes, and data quality to drive improvements and support data governance initiatives.

You will collaborate with the Data Architect, assess business impact, and develop Power BI reports to inform strategic decisions. Strong SQL/T-SQL skills and data quality experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience analyzing data, processes, data quality stats and root cause analysis.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Purview is advantageous.
• Proficient in SQL and advanced T-SQL; able to write queries and procedures.
• Able to develop Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Experience in data quality, remediation, and data management projects.
• Experience in professional services (accountancy or legal) beneficial but not essential.

Data / Analytics / SQL / Power BI / Microsoft Fabric / Data processes / Data Quality

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join their team in either the London or Bristol office on a hybrid basis. The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with the Data Architect to analyse requests for improvements in data related processes across the business.

You will help to identify the business impact of the requests and have strong experience in analysing data, processes, data quality stats and root cause analysis.

Experience:

• Skilled in working with Microsoft Fabric, pipelines, dataflows and PySpark (familiarity with Purview would be advantageous)
• Strong experience with the use of SQL and advanced T-SQL skills - able to write queries, experience with functions, stored procedures and SQL agent jobs
• Able to produce/develop Power BI reports
• Experience working on data quality, remediation and data management projects
• Having worked in a professional services environment (accountancy or legal) would be advantageous but not essential
