Job summary

ShareForce Ltd is seeking a hands-on Data Scientist to join its growing internal data science capability and work on a portfolio of established predictive models. You will collaborate with the Data Science Lead to develop, validate, monitor and improve production models within Azure and Databricks, delivering measurable business value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of practical data science, ML or predictive modelling experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills with complex datasets.
• Experience across the model lifecycle from data preparation to deployment and monitoring.
• Experience building, evaluating and improving predictive or ML models.
• Experience with cloud data environments; Databricks and Azure are valuable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and improve predictive models across the full model lifecycle.
• Work hands-on with Python, SQL and large datasets to investigate problems and develop analytical solutions.
• Monitor production models, investigate performance changes and identify improvements.
• Carry out exploratory analysis, feature engineering, modelling, testing and validation.
• Evaluate new modeling techniques and data sources through experiments.
• Support deployment and ongoing management of models in Azure and Databricks.
• Contribute to model documentation, monitoring, explainability and governance.
• Transfer knowledge and models from external specialists to the internal team.
• Collaborate with data, technology and business teams to ensure production viability.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
