Initio Learning Trust is seeking a part-time Data Protection Admin Officer to join the IT Shared Services Team. The role involves confidential admin support to the DPO, handling SARs and FOI requests, and maintaining data protection logs. Flexible pattern with term-time or full-year options, based in Dorset with travel to Broadstone.

Salary is fixed-term for one year, with actual salary around £9,700–£9,800 per annum, depending on hours. Start mid-November 2026 was anticipated.

Qualifications

• 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (min level 4 or equivalent).
• Experience in administration and following procedures.
• Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
• Strong ICT, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to build positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilités

• Provide confidential admin support to the DPO, ensuring GDPR compliance.
• Assist with processing SARs and FOI requests following statutory guidelines.
• Review and redact third-party information from records as instructed.
• Gather, collate and log information across Trust schools and central teams.
• Maintain tracking logs for SARs, FOIs, data incidents and inquiries.
