Job summary

System Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Database Administrator / Manager for a hybrid role in Woking. The position focuses on the CEDAR-based data environment with MS SQL Server, requiring 3–5 years’ experience in database administration and business application support.

Hybrid working pattern applies: home on Monday and Friday, in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, in the GU22 area.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years MS SQL Server database / business application support experience
• Experience with CEDAR, Auth0 and AngularJS/Angular is preferred
• Knowledge of security principles and practices is desirable

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day administration and support of the CEDAR database and application platform
• Liaison with Rackspace and other suppliers (Auth0, etc)
• Understand the business environment and the user community
• Support the monthly data release cycle
• Develop detailed knowledge of the CEDAR database and application platform
• Formalise and document key business processes
• Contribute to ongoing business improvement
