Job summary

Veolia UK is seeking a Business Performance Specialist in Sheffield (Lumley Street) with hybrid working. The role will gather requirements, cleanse data from multiple sources, and build analytical tools and KPIs across GPS, Finance, HR, QHSE and MIS, reporting to senior management.

The successful candidate will have strong SQL/Excel, knowledge of PowerBI and GIS is an advantage, with opportunities to influence processes and drive continuous improvement across the business.

Qualifications

• Be able to communicate technical solutions to non-technical people.
• Previous business analyst experience would be an advantage
• Must have a high level working knowledge of SQL & Excel
• Knowledge of PowerBI and GIS an advantage.
• High problem solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements from stakeholders to understand business needs and identify opportunities for analysis.
• Collect and cleanse large datasets from various sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Produce analytical tools, reports and KPIs to improve service levels for stakeholders processes.
• Analyse data from GPS, Finance, HR, QHSE and MIS systems.
• Develop and present reports to senior management and external clients.
• Support digital transformation initiatives and propose system improvements.
