Octopus Computer Associates is seeking a Talend/Denodo/AWS/Oracle RDS Data Engineer for 6+ months, starting January, in Telford with 2 days per week in the office. The role is paid at £475 per day inside IR35.

The candidate will work on the ITDE programme, building ETL artefacts and Oracle RDS integrations, with Talend, Denodo, and AWS expertise. Responsibilities include developing Talend jobs and Denodo views, enhancing GitLab pipelines, and supporting QA, testing, and production promotions.

Competenze

• SC clearance preferable but not required (BPSS onboarding)
• BPSS + SC process on join
• Talend experience, Denodo experience, AWS experience, Oracle RDS experience

Mansioni

• Develop project artefacts: Talend jobs, Denodo views, Oracle DDL/SQL, GitLab Pipeline enhancements
• Investigate and resolve defects/issues during testing phases
• Review colleagues' development and test artefacts
• Provide production promotion and warranty support
• Conduct component testing and create test data
• Support QA in testing and debugging activities
