Job summary

Quantum in London is seeking a Data Architect to set the design principles for our data platform and lead the architecture of QiCore, the new data warehouse. You will bring acquired businesses into QiCore and lay foundations for our AI plans.

You will own the architecture, establish governance, and work with security, privacy, and governance stakeholders to ensure data quality and scalable design, while mentoring a small team of data engineers.

Qualifications

• Proven enterprise data architecture experience.
• Knowledge of warehouse or lakehouse designs in production.
• Hands-on data engineering with SQL and Python.
• Strong understanding of PII, data privacy, access controls and governance.
• Experience consolidating acquired businesses into a single data model.

Responsibilities

• Own the target architecture for QiCore and act as design authority.
• Define data quality standards and review work against them.
• Lead migration of Rewards into the warehouse and single customer view.
• Prototype pipelines and unblock engineers on design questions.
• Translate business needs into data design for AI initiatives.
