Job summary

NFU Mutual in Stratford-upon-Avon is seeking a Data Analytics and Insights Specialist to support data integrity across the Life Pensions & Investments business. You will analyse data, implement changes, and ensure governance to deliver trusted reporting.

You will use SQL, Python and Power BI to interrogate data sources, collaborate with Finance and IT, and produce tested, auditable solutions. The role offers hybrid working with up to 80% from home and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Practical SQL capability, reading/writing queries and understanding stored procedures.
• Understanding databases, data models and reporting environments.
• Experience tracing data flows and diagnosing data quality issues.
• Experience assessing changes, testing solutions, and documenting work.
• Experience of data analysis and data-driven insights using SQL or Python and Power BI.
• Experience with Azure, Power Apps, Power Automate; Life, Pensions & Investments domain desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own data issues from initial investigation through to implementation.
• Extract and interrogate data using SQL across multiple sources.
• Collaborate with Finance and IT to deliver practical data governance solutions.
• Ensure changes are tested and approved before deployment.
