Gallagher Re is seeking a talented Data Analyst/Engineer to join the Casualty Analytics team in London. You will own data solutions, build pipelines, and deliver insights to support complex reinsurance placements for clients worldwide.

You will work with actuaries, develop scalable data processes, and drive data quality while collaborating across the business. The role combines technical execution with strategic data stewardship in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (data science, CS, statistics, maths).
• Proven experience in data analytics/engineering for insurance.
• Production-grade Python with pandas and data automation.
• Strong SQL and relational database design experience.
• Experience with Power BI and Excel/Power Query.
• Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data governance.

Responsabilités

• Design, build and maintain Python data pipelines ingesting data from multiple sources.
• Implement data quality checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Lead development of casualty exposure/claims database and dashboards.
• Create analytical tools and benchmarking datasets across clients and time periods.
• Collaborate with actuaries and stakeholders to deliver insights.
