Job summary

MBDA is offering a 1-year placement in its Cyber Security team in the United Kingdom. Starting September 2027, you will identify security risks within complex weapon systems and help implement balanced security measures while gaining hands-on experience in information assurance activities. This placement is hybrid with 2 days on-site.

A BPSS security check will be required after offer. The package includes a company bonus, a generous pension, annual leave, flexi-leave, and access to site

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate working towards a degree in a STEM subject.

Responsibilities

• Identify security risks within complex weapon systems, products and solutions and ensure those risks are addressed by security measures.
• Assist in timely integration of information assurance activities with weapon system engineering, design, manufacturing and support programmes.
• Contribute to trade studies related to weapon system information security and provide security documentation and evidence to meet MOD security assurance requirements.
• Develop security architectures and support evolution of security architectures through life.
• Engage with stakeholders, engineering teams and sub-contractors to provide direction on information security solutions.
