Job summary

MBDA is offering a 1-year undergraduate placement in Product Cyber Security for 2027. The role focuses on identifying security risks in complex weapon systems, delivering balanced security measures, and supporting information assurance activities across engineering, design and manufacturing.

Successful placement could lead to a graduate role and involves potential travel. Working a hybrid pattern with two days on-site, candidates must be UK citizens or dual nationals, ready to undergo BPSS

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate working towards a degree in a STEM subject.

Responsibilities

• Identify security risks within complex weapon systems and ensure risks are addressed by effective security measures.
• Assist in integrating information assurance activities with weapon system engineering, design, manufacturing and support programmes.
• Contribute to security documentation and evidence to meet MOD security assurance requirements.
• Develop security architectures and support life-cycle evolution of security for delivered systems.
• Engage with stakeholders, engineering teams and subcontractors to provide guidance on balanced information security solutions.
