Job summary

IOSH is seeking an experienced Cyber and Information Security Administrator to monitor, protect, and enhance our IT infrastructure. The role focuses on proactive security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and compliance with Cyber Essentials and ISO27001 frameworks.

You will work in a small Technology team and collaborate with multiple stakeholders while operating across on-site and home-based work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, and server environments.
• Experience with security/compliance tools and GDPR/Cyber Essentials.
• Experience in security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability mgmt.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and network security concepts.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, protect and improve the organisation’s cyber security posture.
• Lead incident response, vulnerability management, and risk assessments.
• Ensure security controls, policies and processes align with standards.
• Collaborate with third parties and suppliers on security matters.
