Job summary

GDST is seeking a creative Design Officer to work across Sutton High School and Brighton Girls. You will produce engaging visual and audio-visual content, supporting school communications, celebrating student achievement and helping connect with current and prospective families.

The role covers graphic design, digital content, photography and video, with two days per week at each school and the option to work from home one day per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, content creation or marketing environments.
• Strong eye for layout, typography and visual storytelling.
• Proficient with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, Canva and video editing software.
• Experience producing digital content for websites or campaigns.
• Able to manage several projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create campaign assets and open day materials.
• Design publications and displays for school communications.
• Film and edit interviews or event highlights.
• Produce short-form video and motion content for social channels.
• Liaise with external suppliers and manage assets.
• Contribute ideas to improve content quality across schools.
