Magpie Studio is a branding agency focused on ideas that create impact. A Creative Artworker role entails turning approved creative into accurate work across print, packaging and digital, collaborating with the CS and design teams in a hybrid Shoreditch setup.

The role emphasizes craft, production knowledge, typography and meticulous file management, with opportunities to grow skills and independence while delivering high standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in creative artwork or production.
• Portfolio demonstrating craft across print and digital.
• Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop with production-ready output.
• Strong knowledge of print production processes and colour management.
• Organised with attention to files, version control and QA.

Responsibilities

• Creative artwork & craft: Produce accurate, beautifully crafted artwork across print, packaging and digital, maintaining the quality of the approved creative direction.
• Adaptation & production: Extend approved designs across assets, markets and channels with high-volume and bespoke deliverables.
• Digital production: Create and adapt digital assets across formats and specs, managing versions and outputs.
• Print & packaging: Set up documents, nets, guides; prepare proofs and final artwork; check production files.
• Visualisation & image-making: Support comps, mockups and client visuals including retouching when needed.
• Quality control: Check work for inconsistencies and errors throughout production.
• Organisation & delivery: Manage time and files, maintain version control, communicate priorities clearly.
• Collaboration & communication: Work with designers, CS, clients and partners, seeking feedback and solving challenges.
