Job summary

XPO Logistics is seeking a Cost Accountant for a full-time, permanent position at our Castle Donington site with hybrid working options. The role runs Monday to Friday and offers a salary up to £35k plus benefits, including 25 days holiday and a pension, with additional perks.

Qualifications

• Currently studying for a recognised financial qualification.
• Excellent communication skills—regular interaction with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook; SAP knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute weekly reports to monitor financial and operational performance.
• Produce open-book cost statements for site review each week.
• Support weekly/monthly reporting and reconciliations with site managers.
• Assist with budget/rolling forecast preparation with site managers for review.
