Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Ashby de la Zouch is seeking a customer-focused Control Tower Logistics Supervisor to support the Operations Manager and drive day-to-day control tower activities. This hybrid role runs Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:30, leading a team of Operations Coordinators to ensure on-time delivery and strong stakeholder engagement.

The ideal candidate will bring freight forwarding knowledge, supervisory experience, and strong analytical and communication skills, with MS Office

Qualifications

Knowledge or proven freight forwarding experience, preferably within a 4PL, Control Tower or global transport logistics industry.
Proven supervisory and leadership skills with ability to manage and develop a team.
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities to influence decisions and collaborate with internal/external stakeholders.
Analytical thinker who can adapt quickly to process/system changes; MS Office proficiency desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of Operations Coordinators to ensure on-time delivery and timely follow-ups with suppliers and stakeholders.
Monitor KPIs, SLAs and quality metrics; maintain up-to-date work instructions and process flows.
Provide remedial actions and process improvements to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Prepare detailed reports for the Operations Manager; participate in customer meetings and reviews.
