Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd is seeking a Control Systems Engineer for a 12-month contract in the UK, with hybrid working (2–3 days in the office). You'll design, develop, integrate and commission control and automation systems across nuclear or safety-critical projects.

You'll work with Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider platforms and HMI/SCADA tools, contributing to FAT/CAT, site acceptance and technical documentation.

Qualifications

We require a solid foundation in control systems and PLC engineering.
Professional experience with PLC and/or SCADA programming in industry.
Familiarity with IEC 61131 programming languages.
Experience supporting testing, commissioning or system integration.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
Typically 3–7 years of relevant engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, test and commission control and automation systems.
Develop PLC software and configure HMI/SCADA systems for multiple platforms.
Contribute to full project lifecycle from concept to FAT, CAT, SAT and commissioning.
Produce design specifications, test documentation and user manuals.
Collaborate with electrical, mechanical and project delivery teams to ensure high standards.
