Job summary

GMCA is seeking a Communications & Engagement Senior Officer (Digital Content and Livestream) in Manchester city centre to lead high-quality digital content, photography and livestream production for major city-region stories.

You will collaborate with the Audio-Visual team, deliver engaging content across events, policy launches and public-facing communications, and help tell GMCA’s story with clarity and impact.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience producing digital content for a major public sector organisation.
• Experience creating high-quality livestreams for high-profile events.
• Strong writing, editorial judgment and ability to translate policy into accessible content.

Responsibilities

• Produce photography, video, livestreaming and editing for GMCA and partners.
• Support high-profile events with live coverage and post-production.
• Collaborate with the Audio-Visual team and external partners to deliver content at pace.
