Job summary

Jacobs in the UK is seeking a Construction Planner to join our Project Controls team in Manchester. You will develop, manage and analyse project schedules, collaborating with project managers, engineers, contractors and clients to deliver major infrastructure milestones.

You'll apply Primavera P6 to establish baselines, monitor progress and support timely decisions across water, highways, rail or buildings projects. This hybrid role requires regular office presence and travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project planning within construction, infrastructure or engineering environments.
• Degree-qualified in Engineering or Construction Management with related discipline.
• Experience with collaborative Framework/Alliance environments and Earned Value Management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Establish baselines and monitor progress against milestones.
• Support delivery through all design, procurement, construction and handover phases.
• Analyse schedule performance and provide recommendations to improve outcomes.
• Identify risks and opportunities and support mitigation and acceleration strategies.
• Produce updates, lookahead schedules and planning dashboards.
• Communicate status and milestones to teams and clients.
