Job summary

Jacobs in Manchester is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Planner to lead planning and scheduling across major infrastructure projects. You’ll develop integrated schedules, coordinate design, procurement, construction and handover, and provide strategic insight to drive delivery.

You’ll mentor colleagues, champion planning best practice, review contractor programmes, and support risk management and governance across our Project Controls capability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in planning, scheduling or project controls within construction or infrastructure.
• Degree-qualified in Engineering or related discipline, accreditation advantageous.
• Strong Primavera P6 and risk-analysis knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling across multiple programmes to support decision-making.
• Develop integrated schedules covering design, procurement, construction and handover.
• Establish baselines, monitor performance and ensure timely information for teams.
• Mentor colleagues and drive planning best practices across the Project Controls team.
