The role involves establishing configuration management processes and leading a specialist team to ensure robust control of engineering data. You'll help drive cross-functional collaboration and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant technical degree, extensive experience in configuration management, and strong leadership abilities. Flexible working arrangements are available, with regular attendance required at one of the RR-SMR sites.

Qualifications

• A relevant technical degree (or equivalent experience) and professional accreditation (e.g. CEng or similar).
• Experience of leading configuration management in complex, regulated environments.
• Deep expertise in configuration management processes, tools, and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Establish configuration management processes aligned to engineering and quality lifecycle.
• Lead development and control of integrated configuration baselines.
• Drive effective engineering change management aligned to programme milestones.
