Job summary

St John Ambulance Cymru is seeking a Community Fundraising Manager to lead a diverse fundraising portfolio across community fundraising, corporate partnerships, high-value supporters and events. The post-holder will build strong relationships, deliver engaging campaigns, and grow sustainable income to support the organisation’s mission across Wales.

Cardiff or Wrexham with some flexible homeworking. Hybrid working is available for managers and above, with occasional out-of-hours work as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in generating income across multiple fundraising streams.
• Ability to build lasting relationships with diverse supporters and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills to juggle priorities and targets.
• Excellent communication and influencing abilities for varied audiences.
• Proactive, self-motivated and results-driven with opportunity identification.
• Experience planning and delivering successful fundraising campaigns and events.
• Understanding of supporter journeys and delivering a great supporter experience.
• Experience using CRM systems for data insight and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead income growth across community fundraising, corporate partnerships, high-value supporters and events.
• Build and manage strong relationships with supporters, volunteers and partners.
• Plan and deliver campaigns that engage supporters and meet ambitious targets.
• Utilise data and CRM insights to inform activity and reporting.
• Represent the organisation at events and in the community across Wales.
