Job summary

Girlguiding in London is seeking a Communications Coordinator on a fixed-term contract (end date 06/03/2027). Hybrid working with 35 hours per week and a location allowance of £3,500 per year is provided. You will support a range of teams including internal communications, PR and external affairs.

The role requires excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and travel when required. Evening or weekend work may be needed with time off in lieu.

Qualifications

• Experience in working in a communications role.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support the communications, marketing and fundraising directorate to ensure the smooth and efficient running of directorate projects and processes, including monitoring and evaluation.
• Provide logistical support for a range of events, campaigns and projects.
• Support internal communications, PR, social media and external affairs.
