Job summary

Macildowie Recruitment and Retention invites applications for a Commercial Solicitor role within a well-established law firm. You will advise a varied client base, from startups to large organisations, taking ownership of matters and collaborating with a multi-office team.

We seek a solicitor qualified in England & Wales with 3–5 years PQE in commercial law, capable of handling commercial contracts, technology/IP and data protection matters.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years PQE in commercial law.
• Experience with commercial contracts, technology/IP/data protection.
• Ability to translate legal advice into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied caseload of commercial agreements and tech/IP/data matters.
• Draft, amend and negotiate a range of commercial documents.
• Own matters while supporting senior lawyers on complex projects.
• Provide practical legal advice aligned to client commercial aims.
• Develop relationships with clients and understand their business goals.
• Collaborate with colleagues across offices to deliver joined-up advice.
• Participate in client meetings, networking, and business development.
