PD&MS Group, Grangemouth-based, is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead Estimating, Cost Control, Planning and Commercial functions for the contract. The role requires compliance with client and company processes and adherence to Delegation of Authority across the contract lifecycle.

You will supervise Document Control, Estimating, Cost and Planning teams, coordinate commercial matters, manage risks, and drive project controls best practices.

Qualifikationen

• Degree qualified in a relevant subject or equivalent.
• Significant experience in Project Planning, Estimating and Cost Control.
• Experience in using planning software and MS Office.

Aufgaben

• Supervising the contract Document Control, Estimating, Cost, and Planning personnel
• Coordinate and escalate all commercial and contractual matters for review and approval
• Identify and manage risks in delivery of services and initiate change as required
• Prepare and implement contract processes in alignment with PD&MS standards
• Gather and applying project controls best practices and lessons learned
• Review schedule reports for accuracy and work with the team to agree mitigation plans
• Ensure estimates meet structure and approvals using Norms where appropriate
• Report monthly to Functional Management
• Implement corrective actions to rectify KPI performance
• Enforce contract gatekeeping for DOA compliance and report to Group Commercial Director
• Establish links with support functions for communication and planning
• Schedule regular departmental and inter-departmental meetings with tracked actions
• Oversee scheduling, WBS and project coding structures
• Participate in recruitment and performance management
• Promote professional development and QA/HS policies
• Adhere to PD&MS values and ensure timely performance reviews
• Lead by example in safety and risk management
