Job summary

Oculus Legal Group in the Manchester area is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 1+ PQE to join a top-tier dispute resolution team. The role offers hybrid working, exposure to high-value matters, and close partner mentorship.

The successful candidate will handle a broad range of commercial litigation, company and shareholder disputes, and IP/IT disputes while developing business and client relationships within SMEs and owner-managed businesses.

Qualifications

• Strong training and experience in commercial litigation.
• Good all-round contentious experience.
• Experience working with SME and/or owner-managed business clients.
• The ability to support senior litigators on complex matters.
• The confidence to manage smaller matters with appropriate supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of commercial litigation and dispute resolution work.
• Work closely with partners and senior team members; manage own matters under supervision.
• Contribute to business development and practice development within the team.
