Job summary

Clark James Recruitment in Maidstone is seeking an experienced Commercial Account Executive to service an existing book of Commercial and Corporate clients and help bring in new business. You will manage renewals, assess risks and work with brokers to quote the most competitive terms.

This hybrid role requires a proven track record in Commercial Insurance broking or underwriting, and ideally Cert CII or Dip CII.

Qualifications

• Impeccable track record in Commercial Insurance broking or underwriting.
• ideally Cert CII or Dip CII qualified.
• Strong knowledge of client market and insurance industry networks (London Market, Lloyd's, and industry).

Responsibilities

• Control the renewal process for clients and gather information with strong communication.
• Maintain and grow the book by pursuing new business leads and opportunities.
• Discuss renewal terms with customers and obtain optimal terms with brokers.
• Visit clients as appropriate to strengthen relationships and service.
• Assess account queries and credit matters and escalate as needed.
• Identify and act on new business opportunities to grow the portfolio.
