Job summary

CKB Recruitment Ltd is working with a growing independent insurance business to appoint an experienced Commercial Claims Handler for the South Coast. You'll manage a portfolio across Employers' Liability, Public Liability and Property, with oversight of fleet claims reporting, in a hybrid Poole/Bournemouth/Southampton setting.

You'll own claims from notification to settlement, liaise with clients, insurers, loss adjusters and solicitors, and help shape the claims function as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Solid experience handling commercial insurance claims.
• Able to manage a portfolio with a good degree of autonomy.
• Experience across Employers' Liability, Public Liability and Property.

Responsibilities

• Handling a range of Employers' Liability, Public Liability and Property claims.
• Managing claims from notification through to resolution.
• Providing regular updates and guidance to clients throughout the claims process.
• Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors and other relevant parties.
• Reviewing claim progress and driving matters towards a satisfactory conclusion.
• Assisting with oversight and reporting of fleet claims.
• Maintaining accurate claims records and producing relevant reporting.
