Job summary

Fitch Group is seeking a Service Reliability Engineer to embed with development squads in London, Manchester and New York. The role is based out of our London office, with hybrid work options and a strong emphasis on modern DevOps practices.

You will lead reliable services, mentor engineers, and own CI/CD tooling and observability. Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms is essential for this role at Fitch Group.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in SRE/DevOps across AWS and Azure.
• Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines with security gates and code reviews.
• Scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of reliable, scalable, mission-critical services with Kubernetes guidance.
• Mentor associate engineers and set best practices for areas of expertise.
• Partner with development squads to design and advance CI/CD tooling and observability.
• Own Datadog observability; define SLIs/SLOs, dashboards and alerting.
• Champion AI-enabled operations and establish guardrails for governance.
