Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is seeking IT Architects to lead the design and implementation of hybrid cloud application modernisation projects for public sector clients. You will provide technical leadership for migrating existing apps to cloud and for building new cloud-native solutions.

You will work in rainbow teams with multiple suppliers, bring industry insight, and guide transformations from requirements to production with hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and/or Azure and microservice architectures.
• Hands-on architect with proven certifications preferred.
• Proficiency in designing hybrid cloud solutions and secure connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Providing architectural, consultative and engineering support for journeys to the cloud.
• Bringing industry insight to deliver innovative cloud solutions for customers.
• Leading transformations of enterprise projects from requirements through delivery and production/deployment.
• Building strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
