Job summary

Harvey Nash Group is partnering with a UK-wide publicly funded organisation to appoint a Cloud Solution Architect who will shape the cloud and data strategy, guide architectural decisions and drive large-scale digital transformation across a diverse technology estate.

You will operate in a hybrid model with Coventry onsite 2–3 days per week, define secure, scalable platform designs, promote best practices, and mentor delivery teams across programmes to realise measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading solution architecture and cloud transformation initiatives within complex organisations.
• Strong Microsoft Azure expertise and experience designing cloud-native solutions.
• Experience architecting modern data platforms, integration solutions and governance frameworks.
• Track record of delivering solutions from discovery and design through to implementation and live service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of secure, scalable and future-ready cloud and data platform solutions.
• Shape technology roadmaps, architecture standards and reusable design patterns.
• Influence critical technology decisions across a complex digital estate.
• Drive cloud adoption, automation, interoperability and data accessibility.
• Support the modernisation and integration of legacy platforms and applications.
• Provide architectural leadership across multiple programmes and projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Champion innovation, collaboration and architectural excellence.
