Job summary

Randstad Digital is looking for a high-caliber Network Engineer in Sheffield to join our IT Infrastructure and Operations team on a critical 6-month project. You'll be pivotal in bridging traditional networking and Azure cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include designing secure LAN/WAN infrastructure, leading Azure network designs, and managing enterprise firewalls. Candidates must have a CCNP certification and a proven track record in hybrid environments. This role offers strategic oversight on high-availability systems within a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CCNP or equivalent industry certification.
• Proven track record in managing secure, scalable network architectures across hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure LAN/WAN infrastructure.
• Lead the design of Azure virtual networks, subnets, and NSGs.
• Manage enterprise-grade firewalls to protect workloads.
• Provide 3rd line support and direct root cause analysis.
