Badger Meter UK in Norwich is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to support cloud platform development and maintenance. You will work with agile teams to deliver IoT-enabled software and services for our customers.

You’ll write and test code in JavaScript/Node.js, React and Python, contribute to front-end and back-end work, and help ensure reliability of deployed cloud solutions. A strong problem-solving mindset and collaborative approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience and relevant education.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js fundamentals.
• Proficiency in REACT.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Understanding of Git/GitHub and cloud concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test software components for Badger Meter cloud-based software platforms
• Write clean, maintainable code following established patterns and best practices
• Assist with front-end and back-end development of user-facing systems
• Support systems connected to deployed IoT hardware
• Debug applications and resolve defects under guidance of senior team members
• Participate in code reviews to maintain quality standards
• Assist with maintaining and improving cloud infrastructure services
