IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is shaping hybrid cloud and AI for public and private sector clients. The role focuses on architectural leadership, migrating legacy systems to cloud, and delivering cloud-native solutions with secure, scalable designs.

You will work with cross-functional teams, apply industry best practices, and mentor others while contributing to large-scale cloud programmes and ongoing skills development.

Qualifications

• Experience designing hybrid-cloud integration architectures.
• Cloud target architectures and integrating with on-premise systems.
• Cloud certifications are desirable.
• Knowledge of automation in development, testing, and operations, including CI/CD workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver hybrid cloud application modernisation projects.
• Build, deploy, and integrate new components that operate independently of underlying applications and platforms.
• Design services and processes that run on interoperable software using standards such as web services and SOA.
• Provide architectural, consultancy, and engineering support for cloud transformation journeys.
• Lead enterprise-scale transformation projects from requirements through production.
• Develop strong client relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor throughout delivery.
