Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is seeking an Integration Architect for public sector projects focused on hybrid cloud and application modernisation. You will lead technical guidance, architect cloud-native solutions, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to migrate legacy systems and deliver scalable architectures.

The role emphasizes leadership, cloud expertise (AWS/Azure), DevOps practices, and strong client collaboration within complex environments.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS and/or Azure and familiarity with microservices and CI/CD practices.
• Background in hybrid-cloud integration projects, cloud target architectures, and on-premise integration.
• Continuous learning with recognised industry certifications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver hybrid cloud application modernisation projects for public sector clients.
• Provide architectural leadership and hands-on support for cloud migrations.
• Lead transformational programs with secure, scalable architectures.
• Develop relationships with clients and act as a technical advisor.
• Guide multi‑supplier delivery and ensure alignment with organisational goals.
• Mentor and coach team members throughout project delivery.
