Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is hiring a Business Analyst to help transform hybrid cloud and AI initiatives for public and private sector clients. You’ll gather requirements, map processes, and analyze data using SQL, Excel, and Power BI, bridging gaps between technical teams and stakeholders.

You’ll contribute to project testing, QA, and change management, ensuring solutions meet business needs while enabling secure, scalable deployments across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

• Elicit, validate, and document business, functional, and technical specifications.
• Map existing and future business workflows, systems, and data structures.
• Analyze commercial data, metrics, and trends using SQL, Excel, and data visualization software.
• Explain technical concepts to non-technical managers and executives.
• Plan and oversee testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance of new processes or systems.
• Assess the risks, costs, and benefits of proposed changes and support teams during transition.
