Job summary

Sellick Partnership is seeking an experienced Capital Project Manager in Wrexham for a 3-4 month interim role. You will own day-to-day delivery of a portfolio of multi-million-pound capital projects in a client-side environment, coordinating professional teams and ensuring milestones progress.

The role requires strong programme, cost, risk and change management skills with knowledge of PCSA and two-stage procurement; familiarity with JCT Design and Build contracts is desirable.

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing capital construction or refurbishment projects.
• Experience delivering multi-million-pound projects.
• Strong client-side project management experience.
• Experience with two-stage procurement and/or PCSA arrangements.
• Knowledge of JCT Design and Build contracts desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day client-side responsibility for an agreed portfolio of capital projects.
• Drive project programmes and maintain momentum across consultant and contractor teams.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, Employer's Agents, Quantity Surveyors and other consultants.
• Manage contractors from the client's perspective.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and changes with the Quantity Surveyor and Employer's Agent.
• Maintain project programmes, risk registers and project controls.
• Chair project, design, progress and stakeholder meetings as required.
• Provide concise project reporting to senior estates management.
