Job summary

AXA is seeking a Claims Risk Lead to embed robust risk management within its Claims teams. The role reports to the Head of Trading & Business Risk and leads a team to elevate risk maturity, governance, and accountability across claims functions.

The successful candidate will develop and monitor risk frameworks, KRIs, and risk reporting, collaborating with Line 2 Risk teams and senior stakeholders to drive continuous improvement within a complex insurance environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational risk management within insurance or financial services.
• Strong understanding of claims processes, controls and associated risks.
• Knowledge of FCA/PRA regulations and expectations related to claims and conduct risk.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and improve the Claims risk management framework across UK operations.
• Maintain a holistic view of Risk & Control profile for Claims and ensure controls meet appetite.
• Provide risk expertise for claims strategy, transformation initiatives and projects.
