Job summary

Standard Life plc in the UK is seeking a Change Internal Audit Manager to challenge risk, governance and control frameworks across a portfolio of audits. You will deliver end-to-end assurance and influence senior management, with autonomy and access to broad expertise.

The role can be based in Edinburgh or Birmingham on a hybrid basis, requires professional qualifications in change/project management, and offers a competitive package, bonus potential, generous leave and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional qualification in change/project management preferred.
• Experience in managing or assuring organisational project and transformation activities desirable.
• Previous Internal/External Audit or Risk Assurance experience, ideally in Financial Services.
• Good regulatory awareness and understanding of regulations impacting your portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Challenge the effectiveness of risk, governance and control environments across audits.
• Deliver end-to-end assurance and provide influential insight to senior management.
• Manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation.
• Work across a portfolio of audits and ad-hoc projects aligned to group strategy.
