Job summary

Trident is seeking a CGI/3D software Developer to build and improve tools supporting 3D graphics, rendering, and digital content workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software for visual production processes, automate tasks, and enhance build and deployment pipelines.

The role involves 35 hours per week, with 2 days in the Hull, UK office and 3 days remote. A strong background in CGI, 3D graphics, and DevOps practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience with strong programming skills.
• Experience with DevOps/CI/CD and cloud technologies.
• Experience in CGI, 3D graphics, rendering, or digital content production environments.
• Strong knowledge of software design, data structures, algorithms, and development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications and production tools for CGI, 3D graphics, rendering, and digital content workflows.
• Collaborate with technical, creative, and operational teams to deliver reliable software solutions.
• Write, test, review, and debug high-quality, maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in Agile development and contribute to DevOps activities, including CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Support cloud and production environments by monitoring performance and reliability.
