Job summary

East London NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting CBT therapists and clinical/counselling psychologists for Bedfordshire Talking Therapies. The role involves high intensity CBT for anxiety and depression, with assessments, group work, and potential supervision.

You will work across Bedfordshire with two days on site and three days at home, offering flexible hours and multilingual support where possible. We welcome BABCP or BPS accredited professionals and value experience in diverse communities,

Qualifications

Cognitive Behavioural Therapist with BABCP accreditation or eligible for accreditation.
Clinical/Counselling Psychologist with BPS accreditation and HCPC registration.
Trained in other therapeutic approaches like EMDR.
Experience delivering CBT for anxiety and depression.
Experience in primary care.
Experience running groups.
Ability to work with diverse backgrounds and use interpreters.
Ability to manage caseload and meet targets.
Experience in treating PTSD.
Experience delivering clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

Provide high intensity CBT with patients who have anxiety and depression.
Carry out assessments and offer CBT groups as well as individual CBT treatment.
Work with people from different cultural backgrounds and use interpreters when necessary.
Hybrid role: two days on site and three days working from home.
May provide cover to other East London Foundation Trust Talking Therapies teams.
