Job summary

SGI is seeking a Software Engineer for a 6-month contract in London, onsite three days per week. The role pays £800–£850 per day (umbrella) and offers an interim, hands-on position in a leading asset management environment.

You will contribute to scalable data platforms supporting end-to-end processes from client onboarding to reporting, working with Azure, Snowflake, CI/CD, IaC, and automation in an Agile team.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering cloud-based applications and data solutions.
• Experience in asset management/financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable applications, APIs, and data solutions.
• Develop cloud-native platforms on Microsoft Azure.
• Build and optimise Snowflake data models, pipelines, and integrations.
• Implement CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing.
• Mentor engineers and support technical decision-making across teams.
• Drive engineering standards, security, performance, and operational stability.
