Job summary

TP ICAP Group is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support technology and business change across key systems in the commodities and energy space. You will elicit, document, and communicate requirements, run workshops, and align business needs with technical solutions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in Financial Services Technology, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and work independently in a hybrid London setup.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the full project lifecycle from requirements to delivery.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Financial Services Technology, ideally Agile.
• Experience in technology or financial services environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Service oriented, adaptable and resilient, with personal accountability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Business Analysis on Technology projects within the commodities and energy product areas.
• Produce clear documentation to agreed standards to effectively communicate project requirements.
• Agree documented user requirements with business and IT stakeholders.
• Lead requirements gathering and process definition workshops with the business; monitor and track issues, risks and dependencies.
• Keep Project Manager apprised of status of assigned projects and activities.
• Track and report issues, risks and dependencies during analysis activities.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to validate requirements.
• Assist project managers with status updates, task tracking and coordination.
• Support responses to operational or Level 3 queries related to assigned systems or processes.
• Help ensure appropriate service levels are maintained to support business needs.
