Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Bookkeeper / Payroll & Accounts Assistant in Marlborough to deliver bookkeeping, payroll and accounts support for a diverse client base. The role blends numbers with client service in a friendly, established practice.

The position offers hybrid working, 30–32k salary, and a varied workload across bookkeeping, payroll and accounts tasks in a client-facing capacity.

Qualifications

• AAT Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent bookkeeping experience.
• Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients.
• Prepare and submit VAT records within deadlines.
• Process payroll for a portfolio of clients and manage pension submissions.
• Provide clients with timely payroll and financial information.
• Build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
