Job summary

BMSI in Scotland is recruiting a Project Engineer to manage, design and, where time permits, engineer small to medium BMS projects from order receipt to completion. The role is hybrid, with work from home, onsite, and Belshill office as required by the business.

You will oversee health & safety, procurement, subcontractors, programme coordination, customer liaison and financial control, with travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as a BMS engineer with Siemens and/or Trend systems.
• Experience with Tridium or Delta systems is advantageous.
• Solid background in building controls, with understanding of mechanical plant.

Responsibilities

• Project engineering and management of small to medium sized projects; single or multiple jobs.
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and management.
• Design, engineer and commission BMS solutions where possible.
• Generate and manage Health & Safety requirements, including site audits.
• Plan labour with administration teams and maintain financial control.
• Supervise subcontractors as required.
• Carry out standard BMS engineering activities when workload allows.
• Undertake site surveys to support quotations and system design.
