Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Scunthorpe is seeking a commercially minded BI Insights Analyst to transform data into meaningful business intelligence. You will develop insightful dashboards, automate reporting processes, and provide actionable recommendations that support operational performance and strategic decision-making.

A typical day includes building Power BI dashboards, analyzing large datasets, monitoring KPIs, and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within supply chain, logistics, transport, distribution or retail operations.
• Advanced analytical and reporting skills, including Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL and Excel.
• Proven ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, risks and opportunities, and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Strong understanding of KPIs, performance management frameworks, data governance and reporting best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience presenting insights to operational and senior leadership teams and collaborating across functions to drive business performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and data models that provide clear, actionable business insights
• Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for performance improvement
• Create and enhance automated reporting solutions, reducing manual processes and increasing efficiency
• Design and monitor KPIs and performance metrics aligned to business objectives, supporting strategic decision-making
• Present data-driven insights through engaging visualisations and recommendations, helping stakeholders make informed operational and commercial decisions
