Job summary

Square One Resources Limited in London seeks an experienced Azure Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution architecture for a Government Digital Service programme. The role spans SAFe-aligned ARTs and uses Scala front-end, Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Azure services.

The post requires strong background in enterprise-scale design, integration patterns, and security, with UK public sector delivery and GDS standards familiarity.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-scale solution design across multi-team programmes.
• SAFe or scaled-agile experience in government or large organisations.
• Strong Microsoft Azure architecture and services knowledge.
• Experience with Power Platform and Dynamics 365.
• Experience with Scala or JVM-based microservices and cloud-native design.
• Deep expertise in integration architectures and APIs (REST, messaging).
• Familiarity with UK public sector digital services and GDS standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for the programme across multiple ARTs.
• Define vision, intention, architecture runway and target state architectures.
• Act as Solution Architect within SAFe, collaborating with RTEs, system architects and product management.
• Identify cross-ART dependencies, integration points, shared services and technical risks.
• Contribute to PI Planning, solution demos and backlog for NFRs.
